Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Arkansas drivers license
• License Good driving record
• Reliable transportation and proof of automobile liability insurance

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Knowledge of traffic laws
• Knowledge of metropolitan geography
• Ability to read a map
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to exercise patience with others

Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivers meals to homebound older people who are unable to shop or prepare their own meals
• Runs scheduled route for pick-up and/or delivery
• Contacts dispatcher of unusual situation regarding customer
• Obeys all traffic laws
• Uses most direct route to minimize time and distance traveled
• Maintains regular attendance
• Adheres to scheduled work hours
• Notifies supervisor in advance when unable to report to work as scheduled
• Meets deadlines
• Manages own time to complete work within time frame
• Responds to requests in a timely manner
• Complies with agency policies and procedures
• Adheres to rules for confidentiality
